Summer in Mauritius is from November to April, and winter is from May to October. The summer months can be very hot and humid, especially in January and February, while the rainy season (also in summer) runs from January to March. Although cyclones usually miss Mauritius, it’s worth knowing that the cyclone season is from November to April. Many people prefer to visit Mauritius in the cooler and drier winter months, as the sunshine is definitely guaranteed year-round.
