I have been to Turkey 5 star hotels 7 times The Tusan hotel was not comparable with any 5 star hotels this hotel ( TUNAS HOTEL ) was Maximum just 2 stars . except the very very cheap and basic and Distasteful drink and food , the rest was payable . even the Hamam and sauna was not free , which in every other hotels was absolutely free , Very boring hotel , petty for our time we wasted at this horrible hotel

The hotel was not far from the airport about 45 minutes drive. It was in a beautiful location and lovely part of Kusadasi. It was quite remote had a private beach and approximately 15 minutes bus ride from the main centre of Kusadasi. This centre has their high street shops but a couple of bus rides passed it, there are a few markets. 1 only on Wednesdays and another every day. The one we every day was lovely, had a shopping mall and all the beautiful traditional Turkish souvenirs. The downside of the hotel was that although I was inclined to book it due to the facilities available for children none of the facilities eg aqua pool, podium, tennis table etc were open as it was not May. They open all the facilities from May. So if your looking for pools with slides etc you wont find any until their main season starts in May. Same went for good at the hotel. It was nice but not available to their full capacity due to the same reasons. The al carte restaurant only had seafood due to non season time so we didnt get to experience any traditional ornwell known Turkish food within the hotel premises. Aside from these 2 things I would recommend but only from May onwards. :)

Poor management. Staff know very little english. Minibar in the room did not work. Fan in the bathroom did not work. Food quality very poor. Smack served without hot drink and hot drink served without snack. Poor safety as the pool aquarium window had several cracks. Room service was not done properly.
