Every thing about the place was fantastic apart from trying to get in to the restaurants for dinner when the hotel had more occupants. This is a adult only hotel, which is perfect if you do not want to have children around during your holiday!

We stayed here in 2018 and, having enjoyed our stay, revisited this year. The standards of cleanliness within the hotel are very high, but there are signs of wear and tear. Our room was rather tired compared to our last visit which was a little disappointing but I guess only to be expected after four years. The food offering is generally very good but you need to be selective in your choices, there is (understandably) a mexican twist to many dishes. You can buy a bottle of wine of your choice if you wish but we found the house red or white (part of the all inclusive package) perfectly satisfactory (and free!). It's a "first come first served" system without reservations so there can be queues at times for certain restaurants. Generally speaking men must wear long trousers at dinner (jeans are ok) but no shorts. The hotel beach is beautiful and you can walk along the hotel strip for miles - we averaged five per day without getting bored. The sea is beautiful but very rough, it's ok for adults or bigger children close to enjoy the waves close to the shore but it's not really suitable for swimming. There are several pool areas with plentiful sunbeds, umbrellas and towels. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are absolutely first class. The reception, room service, pool, bar and lounge staff are courteous, cheerful, helpful and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. There are many organised activities during the day should you wish to join in and entertainment in the evening in different areas of the hotel. Be aware that 90% of the hotel guests are American, often part of business convention groups. Whilst there is no need to tip staff at the resort they seem unable to break this habit and regularly do so for pretty much anything and everything.
