Lovely hotel, amazing staff. It is not 5 star by our standards but don't let this put you off. There are always loungers on the beach and by the pool. Lots to get involved with if thats what you're looking for, or just relax.

Directly on the Varadero beachfront; 14km to Varadero centre. Massage and beauty treatments. One free form and two rectangular swimming pools (main pool; spa pool and entertainment pool); main buffet restaurant; international; Japanese and Mediterranean a la carte restaurants; swim up pool bar; beach snack bar; snack bar; lobby bar; disco bar; cigar bar; mini market; 24hr reception; Wi Fi in selected areas and room service (11am to 11pm only).Rooms (up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) have 1 king size bed or 2 queen size beds; air conditioning; cable TV; coffee maker; iron; ironing board; hairdryer; full bathroom and balcony or terrace. Junior suites (which are slightly larger than standard rooms) and rooms for sole use are available at a supplement.

Great hotel with all amenities and services you would expect from a 5-star hotel, apart from internet, which is only available through buying a scratch card (1 CUC/USD per hour) and in the wi-fi areas, which mainly include the lobby and some areas of the pool. Apparently wi-fi is available in some rooms (wasn't available in ours).
