Of all our stay during our US Vacation, this is the best hotel we have stayed so far. The receptionist are very friendly to me. Our room is so fabulously massive- my family love it so much! Overlooking the city. The beddings/pillows are very clean & comfy. The car park fee wasnt that bad $28/night.
What I dont appreciate with this hotel is their WiFi- its not free! however, the one who accomodated during my check in was so good, she gave me the password but our room is not a good spot for wifi. Then I called again in the reception telling to buy for their WiFi or I should have an HHonors to avail the free Wifi. WiFi is very important & useful to all guests especially coming from other countries. And when I have my HHonors they dont acknowledged it as I have booked with third parties--- obviously I have booked through 'Travel Republic'. What I always did, I go to their lobby to use their superfast internet.
My overall, it was a brilliant stay with them!

Fabulous central location within walking distance of many of the main tourist sights. Good access to public transport. Hotel is large, room was large also with separate living room area. Stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis and service was very good thorough. Reliable choice if you are looking for a city centre hotel with lots of services and in good location.

Hotel needs a lot of TLC..
Staff are nice, helpful and friendly, especially Kevin the Engineering Manager.
Updating and modernizing the Lobby Bar and Restrooms need urgent attention.
Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean..However, bathroom and rooms need updating.
The indoor swimming pool and outside sun terrace is an added bonus.
On the last day of my stay. I had to vacate my room at 11am which was fine because the hotel does have a facility where you can store your luggage securely.
As my flight home was an evening flight, I was planning on spending the last day of my stay in the hotel relaxing.
I was most disappointed to learn from the reception staff that I could not use some of the hotels facilities as this is a ' liability ' unfortunately, this included the swimming pool and sun terrace.
Sadly, this did spoil the last day of my stay.
Overall, I was happy with my stay at the Double Tree and would recommend to friends and family on one condition, they change their policy on the aforementioned.
