Built around a delightful pool area, this pleasant hotel is an ideal place to spend one's holidays in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. It is located in the centre of Cala d'Or, just a few steps from the main street with its shops and within minutes from the famous yachting harbour with its plethora of restaurants, bars and cafés. Hotel D'Or offers rooms with terraces overlooking its gardens. It features a seasonal outdoor pool and a restaurant. Each simply decorated room has air conditioning. There is a TV and a private bathroom. The hotel serves a breakfast buffet, including hot and cold English and continental options. There is also a bar and a poolside terrace. In addition, the property organizes live musical shows on a weekly basis. The city of Palma and the international airport can be reached within an hour's drive.

Very enjoyable, relaxing stay. Bathroom was a bit of a surprise on arrival, but we got around that! Everything very clean. Plenty to do in and around the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend to others

Me & my husband stayed at Hotel D'or 14th-25th September. From the moment we arrived ( early hrs in the morning) we were welcomed with open arms.
Before we arrived at the hotel, I messaged with a couple of requests due to us arriving on our wedding anniversary & celebrating my husband's birthday on the 20th. When we were shown to our studio, we opened the door to petals scattered across our bed, a basket of fruit & a congratulations from all of the staff.
Studios are more than adequate for a couple. We requested a quiet area of D'or to stay, we had room 207, which was quiet, but still near the pool. You have free wi-fi, and there is a safe, which is a 20 euro charge ( well it was for our stay). I like firm pillows,so requested an extra pillow, this was granted, and placed in the wardrobe ready for me to use. You also get free air conditioning which is brilliant, very welcomed on those hot days. Studios don’t come with a fridge, but you can hire one for 40 euro, this is not a mini fridge, but under counter fridge. There is also a flat screen TV, this is also free. When you check in you have an option to upgrade to the rooms upstairs (superior rooms, this is an extra 10 euro per day.) We didn’t take this option, our studio was more than adequate.
There's plenty of storage for your clothes (wardrobe, side tables, and a dressing table.) The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, whilst on holiday. You also get a really light duvet as opposed to sheets. You will sleep like a baby.
During our stay our room was cleaned every day, fresh linen daily, clean towels every day, even though we didn't request this. Lovely touch.
Cleaners do a superb job, and very friendly, we always thanked them for doing a fantastic job.
You get loo roll, and products (shower gel & shampoo), we didn't us these though as we had our own. There is also a hairdryer in the bathroom. Couple of mirrors in the room also.
Outside of the studios you get a lovely small patio with two chairs & a table. There is however no airer, or anywhere to dry your clothes. We had our own clothes line & tied it to the chairs.
Hotel D'or supplies breakfast, this was included in our package. You get a choice of cooked breakfast, fruits, cereal and pastry's. There is also tea, coffee, fruit juice & water. I did see some fruit tea, but no de-caf. There also supply soya milk & almond milk..we didn't eat from the bar, so can't comment, but lots of people complemented the food at D'or.
They have happy hr between 16:30-17:30, not a minute before or after. I must say, they served the best San Miguel from the pump in the area. Everywhere else I suggest you drink beer from the bottle.
You don't need to reserve beds round the pool, it's always very quiet, you can hear a pin drop.
If you are lucky to get late check out they charge you between 20-30 euro. If you can't keep on your room, there is a brilliant shower and amenities you can use.
There is also an adequate gym and a chill out area.
You are very close to the square ( two minute walk to bars & restaurants), five minutes to the nearest beach, two minutes to the best baguette shop, and a ten minute walk to the Marina ( a must)...There are plenty of places to eat in the square, you won't be disappointed, food is excellent. We dined at: restaurant diferent, La Savina, pirates,Aquarius, Indiana Johns ( our favourite), supertramps ( very cheap food & cocktails.)
There's also a spar across the road from the hotel, sell products like shampoo, baby wipes, toothbrush etc..sell all the usual things you need for your stay in Spain.
Other friends & family joined us whilst we were in Cala D'or, they stayed five minutes from D'Or, very easy to meet up.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel D'or, there are not many staff, but they all work tirelessly to ensure you have the best stay, whilst in Cala D'or. We will definitely return to Hotel D'or in the future.
The hotel is a three star now, not a two star!!
The only feedback I can give is please invest in some clothes airers, make it so much easier for holiday makers to dry their clothing.
Keep up the hard work guys, you definitely deserve more than a 3 star rating.

Always stay here, a hidden gem. Now wi-fi is fully available free is a real bonus. Good staff, some missing from last few years, rooms good, daily clean and fresh towels too, there’s more sun umbrellas too. Close to the town centre and beaches.
