This hotel is in a good location for Taksim square but far away enough to escape the hustle and bustle. It is modern and quite funky. Bedrooms are equipped with complimentary fresh fruit platter and complimentary bottled water (daily basis). Also free wifi for guests throughout hotel. Toiletries include shampoo and conditioner - always useful to know. The only downside was that there was a karaoke bar nearby that belted out tunes until just after midnight-nothing that pair of ear plugs wouldn't fix ( my friends had rooms on the other side of hotel and said it was quiet. The staff were courteous and efficient.

I stayed at the Nippon while on a business trip and have found this hotel pleasant, functional and comfortable. Business meetings aside, the hotel is also conveniently located to both transport links to the rest of the city (underground, buses to and from the airport, trams etc) and great places to eat and unwind within walking distance. I particularly appreciated the well-insulated windows - protection from the chaos surrounding Taksim square not common to other hotels in the area. The one drawback (for us ladies, at least) was a very feeble hairdryer!
