The resort is lovely, with activities and a private beach; however, the beach is not of ample quality to walk on. It’s designed purely to allow as many people sitting there as is the possible. The water activities are plentiful but more people would book these water sports if the prices were lower. They would probably make more money, but they are greedy. The pier which houses the private huts are much too expensive for a day. If you allowed waiter service then $50 euros for one hut would be acceptable. Food is plentiful; however cooking every conceivable thing imaginable and not to an edible standard is not conducive to good economic sense. Much food is wasted in a time when many people are starving and visiting food banks. An example is the vast amounts of Crayfish cooked up for a special fish night. It wasn’t peeled for perfect presentation, just cooked and piled in large bowls. It actually resembled cooked cockroaches! Needless to say that nobody ate them, but three days later they were served up again! The large king prawns - beautiful specimens, washed out of all their natural juices, completely tasteless and quite nauseating. The entertainment is outdated. The sound system is antiquated. Bar is okay but some waiters do not know how to make cocktails. Stay clear of the Irish Coffee! It’s vile. Housekeeping staff - some are great whilst others are moody. I was woken up at 9am by one who wanted to clean my room. The offending lady returned later, only to leave no toilet roll and to eat some of my sweets which I had left out in a dish. I thought to have my hair done in the hotel - The pretty girl sitting in the foyer was on her phone. She didn’t know anything. I guess she was paid to sit outside the establishment, just to look good. She guided me to the even lovelier lady sitting inside the hair salon, this lady also didn’t know the price of what I needed done. It was only roots colour...how hard could that be? She then introduced me to the two men who I can only presume were the stylists. As soon as one of them saw me he quoted a price of €40. Needless to say I didn’t return. Turkish bath etc...lower your prices! More people would go. You would be inundated. Rooms...despite the fact that I booked a double room, upon arrival I was shown a room with two single beds, Check out is at midday. If you have a late flight be prepared to negotiate a price to keep your room foe a late check out. I paid €40 extra for 4 hours more. Guest Relations: They are simply arrogant and do not give the right advice.
