The hotel’s garden is a calm oasis, just made for relaxing amidst the exotic plants and water features. Inside there’s a wellness centre with another pool, whirlpool and hydrotherapy baths, as well as a sauna and fitness room. For those really looking to indulge, a number of massages and beauty treatments are available.
When it comes to meal times, the Santana Hotel’s buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and deals in British specialties including a full cooked English and even a Sunday carvery. In the evenings, the rooftop terrace also plays host to live music, and each of the air conditioned rooms features free Wi-Fi.

The village of St Paul’s Bay, Malta, has plenty of attractions to keep the whole family entertained. The national aquarium gives visitors a fascinating insight into local and international marine life while the Malta classic car museum exhibits an array of vintage automobiles. There is a large golden sand beach here too where you can enjoy a swim in the shallow water or begin an excursion by boat out to St Paul’s Island, which has a fascinating history.
Neighbouring Bugibba is a little livelier, with more beaches, a picturesque harbour and plenty of bars and restaurants lining the seafront. Throughout the summer its main square, Bay Square, plays hosts to live music events.
Twin rooms at the Santana Hotel can sleep up to three people and come with free Wi-Fi, a balcony area, air conditioning, satellite television, an en-suite bathroom with a hairdryer and shower and tea and coffee making facilities. Comfort twin rooms are located in a newer building of the hotel and feature a more contemporary design. Tea and coffee come with the kettle in these rooms, and there are also toiletries in the bathroom as well as a mini bar. Family rooms can sleep four people and feature twin beds and two sofa beds. Irons and ironing boards are available on request, and safety deposit boxes are available at an extra cost.
