When to go to Alvor?
The weather in the Algarve is a big reason why people come to Portugal all year round. It's rare for the temperature to dip below 10°C in any month. June, July and August are the scorchers, with hot sunny days and relatively little rain. Visit over Easter to see the colourful and vibrant Carnival processions through Alvor's streets.
