November is the most popular month for travelling to Penang – but if you like having places all to yourself, you might consider going in May.

 

Whichever month you pick to travel, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to hotels. But the amount you pay all depends on how swanky you wanna be. If a four-star joint’s what you want, you won’t find one for less than €27 a night, and chances are it’ll probably cost closer to €44. But, if you really want to push the boat out, we can always hook you up with a room in a five-star place. Five-star hotels start at €37 per night, with the average price being €90.
