Say hello to Playa del Ingles
Playa del Ingles, or The English Beach, is a great choice if you’re looking for long, sandy beaches, crystal-clear water, big shopping centres and the best nightlife in southern Gran Canaria. Travellers flock to Playa del Ingles for the area’s famous party scene, but the resort is just as popular with families looking to chill out on the beach, go dolphin-watching, and spend the evening tucking into delicious local specialities. While you’ll probably want to spend a lot of your stay sunbathing, Playa del Ingles also offers everything from boutique shops to crocodile sanctuaries, and when night falls you can dance until morning at the bars and clubs, if that’s what you’re looking for.
