Excellent hotel. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Food is of good quality and choice, with show cooking each night in the Spices Restaurant. Escencia Restaurant (in the hotel) is great for a romantic meal for two (35 euro per person including wine) where the food is of a high standard. Main pool is salt water, but it is not over salted (not like sea water). Sunbeds are aplenty and they have nice comfortable mattresses on them. If you want to really spoil yourself you could upgrade to 'The Level', but we didn't as we were quite happy with what we had (and didn't have the money!).I would definitely go back to the Melia Salinas.
Top Tip: Upgrade to a Premier Sea View room (if you have booked a Classic Room).

One of those rare occasions when the photos do not do it justice. Beautiful hotel, nice beachfront location, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Good clean rooms, excellent service and stunning decor, the indoor gardens and artworks really added to the atmosphere.
The food was excellent, and looked just like the photos, with amazing choice, well presented. The pool was beautiful with palm trees and rockery, with great views of the bay. We used the gym most days, level with the beach, it had beautiful views through the floor to ceiling windows.
Housekeeping was really good, our room was always spotlessly clean. All the staff were hardworking and friendly. One of the staff in particular, Rocio, went out of her way to help us when we had a problem.
The hotel is looking a little bit tired, though, with the odd cracked marble on the floor and seventies wardrobes, but a minor comment on a fantastic holiday.

The pictures and information given on travel republics website gave a very good description of this hotel, which gave us the confidence to book. The hotels lovely - only reason I didn't give a full 10 - was that they have the most amazing pool but it was freezing and so I was unable to use it.
Well done also for being very competitive with prices - will certainly book again !
Top Tip: Within easy walking distance to the square with all the restaurants, bars and evenings great entertainment you could need.

Very nice hotel little bits let it down would say it was more of a 4*. The staff were very helpful and friendly but at time was not enough of them to cope with the busier times

Because of the French Air Traffic Control strike, we were 2 days late arriving. However, the hotel did their best to make up for this and treated us very well.
