“ Our family (2 adults plus 2 children 6 & 9) stayed here the week prior to Easter, simply perfect. It's a 10-12 minute walk to "the New Strip" as its known locally, the area where most of the restaurants and bars are or a few minutes in a taxi costing around 4 euros.9.0 Magnificent

“ The hotel was excellent with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Right on the lovely sandy beach which was never crowded. Very nice and reasonably priced beach restaurant. A slight negative was the distance from restaurants, shops and supermarkets. However taxis were really cheap.
The transfer arrangement with Holiday Taxis was a shambles at the airport.
It would have been less hassle, more convenient and cheaper to get an ordinary taxi to and from the airport.

The hotel was beautiful. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and we could have moved our extended family into it. I had requested a balcony with sun all day as my son went for a nap which we got. however our apartment was located very close to the main gate i.e. the main road so it was a little noisy but I didn't ask to be moved.....I'd ask in advance for a location not on the main road though if I was booking again. There are 3 sets of pools in the complex and we were right beside 1 of them so that was great. There was no problems getting a bed at any time, people removed their things if they were leaving for a while and everyone was friendly. Also, there was a box of spare kids toys that the kids could use which was ideal to avoid arguments between the small people. We added our beach ball and stuff to it when we were leaving, it is a great idea!
The facilities are great. I did a pilates class a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was direct access to the beach but the beds were €15 so I sat on the sand!! Not much point in paying for a bed when I was going to be running after a 2yr old. My husband used the gym too and although there wasn't alot of equipment, he was delighted to have the facility.
We ate lunch at a pool bar the first day we arrived which was only OK and quite expensive for what it was. There was another restaurant offering a BBQ at €29 per head. It looked fabulous but I couldn't justify paying that much for lunch.
on our last day we ate in the bar atlantico (I think that's the correct name). It is the restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch looking onto the beach and it was fabulous. Lovely menu reasonably priced with a fabulous view. I would have sat there all day except for the cries of beach now mammy.....................
The hotel is out of the town a bit but they run a complementary shuttle every hour or 2 which is great. The last buses at 6.20 and 7.20 are obviously very popular and space is limited so you might not get a seat. I don't know what the night time entertainment in the hotel was like but it seemed quite which suited us. The hotel is closer to the strip which you can walk to....in flat shoes! We ate there 1 night and it wasn't great. Our best meal was in the old town, just off the beaten track in a place called the bistro, I got the recommendation off of trip advisor, it was fab!!! The rest of our eating experienced were not so amazing unfortunately so get recommendations if you can.
the hotel staff were very helpful.
If I was returning to Albuferia, I'd def stay in this hotel again.
“ Top Tip: Get restaurant recommendations - trip advisor was good for us. The food in the bistro in the old town was our food highlight.

“ Myself and my boyfriend stayed here in sept. The hotel was beautiful, gorgeous bar with sea view, restaurants with sea view. The restaurants serve really good food although a little expensive. It's the nicest hotel we ever stayed in. There's a short walk to the beach with private hotel access. The beach is small but lovely, although gets quite busy. We had to get taxis everywhere but we also hung around hotel and went to beach, sea water pool and ate in the restaurants some days. The beauty of the hotel definitely made up for the fact we needed to get taxis everywhere. About 7 euros to old town. We definitely plan to re visit this hotel. Only negative is some of the staff (2 women waiting tables for breakfast) were rude in their tone and response, they literally didn't say one word when they took our tea order. Some staff were nice but overall they don't interact at all.
