Good hotel, I believe this hotel is EX Hilton. We knew from Tripadvisor that this is not a 5* hotel, but rather 4*, if you bear this in mind you will enjoy your holiday. It is worth to pay a bit extra for the sea view - it's amazing and the landing planes won't disturb you. The rooms are a bit dated, many of them are now showing signs of ageing and the hotel would do well to inject some money into upgrading furnishings such as carpets and room TVs. This again didnt upset us too much as the place was clean but definitely dated.

No safes in the room but you can use one behind reception. There is no mini bar in the room either.

There is a nice external lift to the beach which is like a cable car with nice views.

Restaurant is good, always something to eat, drinks not too expensive as we were Half Board. Regarding the airport it wasn't noisy or disturbing in fact was kind of cool plane watching!

Free Internet wifi access is strong in the public areas. The advertised in room wifi doesn't work for large parts of the time.

Also underground parking is free.

If you get a good deal like we did go for it!
Top Tip: Regarding the airport it wasn't noisy or disturbing in fact was kind of cool plane watching!

Clean and well run . Good location. Decor dated. Great buffet breakfast.
The entertainment in hotel was abysmal. It could be so much better.
Top Tip: Lots of local shops and restraints nearby.

Pro's:
Great Location & Setting
Friendly Staff
Room was large (534) & clean
Good Breakfast
Good value pricewise.

Cons:
Dated room interior decoration & appointments.
Drainage problems in bathroom..... unacceptable.
Entertainment..... mediocre & unimaginative.
Lifts both internal & external (to beach) are problematic and per trip adviser, have been, for a considerable length of time....unacceptable.
This hotel boasts a 5 star rating.......this is ,in my view, utterly misleading, when comparing to other 5 star properties throughout Europe.

We missed transfer bus to airport on departure as it was not pointed out to us that collection was at the hotel gate on the road as opposed to outside hotel reception...... where, by the way, we were dropped on arrival. We were informed of this by reception 20 minutes after pick up time, when we inquired as to the whereabouts of the transfer bus.We got a taxi ,competitvely priced at 15 euro!
Top Tip: Captain Georges Restaurant/Taverna,across the road from the hotel, is very good for both good food and value. That said, there's no competition locally.
500 meters from the hotel, up on the point ,there's two outstanding cafe /bars looking across the sea and down on the Airport runway.

The hotel itself was lovely with some very nice and friendly staff. However we were booked in to stay in the bungalow complex off to the side and as the hotel itself was 5 star we did expect the accommodation in the bungalow to match up to a similar standard.. it did not! The room wasnt fit to sty pigs inside.. the decore was old and dilapidated the furniture was older than myself in my opinion the room was damp and bug ridden.. the stone flag flooring was filthy and hadent been swept or cleaned before we arrived nor while we were there. We did complain and were moved into the hotel although this took several visits to the reception desk as some of the staff wernt very helpful.. beware what you think you are paying for is the lesson to be learnt here. Overall this is the worst holiday room ive ever stayed in.. I just wish id have took my tools on holiday as my garden shed would have rated higher.
Top Tip: There are a couple of really nice bars and restaurants just down the road and a really nice friendly shop selling everything you could need for a holiday but location is a little bit isolated but transport to corfu town is excellent and reliable.

This is in a quiet area and there is not much to do around, luckily Corfu town is just a short bus journey away.
The hotel is really nice and very clean, though the food is expensive and ok as long as you like cheese and ham with fries!
If you want a relaxing holiday with little fuss, this is ideal.
The staff are pleasant and helpful.
Top Tip: Best place to eat is the Kononi bar, a short walk away, stunning views and great food.
The bus picks you up from the main road!!!
