This is by far one of the best holidays in our experience.
The weather in October is fabulous, with occasional cloud but overall beautiful sunshine and heat.
The surrounding are simply spectacular: the beach is clean and a 1 minute walk away, there are many pools and the resort's architecture is lovely. We were able to snorkel many times too.
The food available is of high quality and diversity, although our European stomachs never got quite used to the Egyptian style. The fact that we were all inclusive allowed us to take advantage of all facilities and dine wherever we pleased within the resort. The beach restaurant being the best for its candle lit dinners put on for some evenings. Drinks were also easily attainable, the large range of special all inclusive cocktails being acceptable.
The entertainment, contrary to many reviews was actually pretty good in our opinion. Every evening offered a new show, ranging from traditional belly dancing to magic and acrobatics (this was the most impressive). Guests were then treated to live music until 23:30 where the fun pub was then opened for a more clubby atmosphere.
Within the resort, there were a few shops, allowing tourists to buy some overpriced souvenirs. The practicality of this was helpful, allowing you to wonder out of the resort within the 'resorts village' to access more shops, although the shopkeepers here were more pestering. Being all inclusive, also gave us the access to outer activities such as the spa and water park. A trip to Luxor was also available for a charge, but its extensive journey did not appeal to us.
The best aspect of the trip I would say was the service. The Egyptian people working there were extremely welcoming and friendly, allowing us to befriend them and take back excellent memories. Whether this was genuine or simply a career obligation did not matter.
Overall, this week has been one of the best holidays, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to venture out to Egypt; whether it is to relax, or explore, this resort caters for all needs and ages.
Top Tip: The beach restaurant can be booked in advance for the special candle lit dinners where there is a set menu.
It is also worth trying out the Arabesque restaurant, where traditional Egyptian food is served although it may upset your stomachs a little.
Do try the Egyptian wine for experience but purchasing a separate wine is probably preferred.
The pool bar is the best place to hang out towards the end of the afternoon (it gets dark round 17 in October).

Overall it was a very nice hotel, food selection was great, team-members of the restaurants and bars were very friendly and helpful!
The hotel was clean and well maintained, just minor maintenance required!
The only letdown was the reception! Not that helpful!
As well internet is a big letdown as you have to buy at least a half an hour access costing you Euros 3.50, and you can just use it one time even you surf just 5min!!!!
Top Tip: Always keep small money with you, as they don't like to give change at the reception.
Get a taxi on arrival to bring you to the hotel as the pre-booked transport took ages.

Overall the hotel is an excellent option to take a relax holiday....
The only thing that I would suggest is to not allow smoking inside the bars and pubs.

An excellent all round hotel, food was very good with access to two extra restaurants at no extra charge. Staff were very friendly and eager to chat and help. Nice beach with good snorkelling (snorkels provided by hotel) the grounds and buildings were in very good order the gardens themselves are worth a walk around, in fact the hotel would provide a guide to talk you through the various plants and the animal 'shaped' topiary!! Easy 30 mins transfer from airport.
Without doubt the best hotel we have stayed in in Egypt and one of the best worldwide for the complete package. If we were being picky then the evening entertainment was of an iffy standard, but that in itself is entertaining!!!
Would definitely return to this hotel!!
Top Tip: Take something warm to wear at night once the sun starts to set (half four in Dec) it gets very cool.
You can book the Beach or Souk Restaurant as many times as you like during your stay so don't be English about it and limit yourself to one visit!
