Majorca Uncovered: Best Places to Relax

Majorca has always been a customer favourite, and doesn’t show signs of stopping any time soon. This week we take a look at the regions perfect for families, beach holidays or anyone just looking to get away from it all.

Santa Ponsa, on the south west coast of Majorca, is a popular choice thanks to its gorgeous coastline, popular marina, and exciting nightlife. However, if you’re looking for something even more chilled out, head to Puerto Pollensa, located on the north west of the island.

Once a small fishing village, Puerto Pollensa is now a laidback and family friendly resort, offering long sandy beaches set against a rugged backdrop. The old town is a must-see for anyone visiting the area, with its quaint cobbled streets and selection of authentic restaurants you’ll love dining in.

Another top tip for anyone looking for a family holiday in Majorca is to visit Alcudia, located in the north of the island. You can enjoy some great days out here, including taking a trip to the Roman ruins and visiting the small fishing village of Porte D’Alcudia, where you can sample the catch of the day in one of its waterside restaurants.

If it’s a view you’re after (and you’re feeling brave), why not climb Sa Talaia d’Alcudia? From the top of this steep hill you can enjoy amazing panoramic views of the bay and surrounding area.
