The main beach in Magaluf is perfect for those who want to get involved in watersports while being close to local amenities. With the promenade directly behind full of shops, restaurants and hotels, Magaluf Beach is convenient and easy to access.

OFF THE BEATEN TRACK | CALA MONDRAGO

This unspoilt and remote Blue Flag beach is situated within Mondrago National Park and is one of Majorca’s best beaches. Close to Cala D’Or, Cala Mondrago is surrounded by pine forests, rocky coves and natural landscapes, with shallow and clean water that’s perfect for swimming.

It can get busy in peak season but is quiet most of the time. There are no watersports here, but the clear water is good for snorkelling and you can explore the forests on foot.

FAMILY FUN | PLAYA DE MURO

Located in the town of Muro, near Alcúdia, Playa de Muro Beach is made up of four sandy beaches that cover almost 6 km. It’s also surrounded by a national park.

BEST FOR WATERSPORTS | PORT DE POLLENSA

The horseshow bay at Port de Pollensa overlooks the Tramuntana mountains. From windsurfing to kayaking, you can get involved in plenty of watersports or visit the Kitesurfing School nearby.

The Blue Flag beach itself is almost 1.5 km long, with car parking facilities, sun loungers and restaurants that line the promenade.
