KOH PHI PHI VIEWPOINT
There are three viewpoints on Phi Phi island which offer different perspectives, and it’s the best way to see the sandbar which connects the two large rock formations on the island. The hikes are steep but rewarding. Try visiting at sunrise or sunset and remember to bring cash for the entrance fee which can vary.
RAILAY BEACH
One of Thailand’s best beaches is between Krabi and Ao Nang. It’s connected to the mainland by boat which takes around 15 minutes. The beach is famous for its limestone cliffs and white coral sand.
AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD BANGKOK
An airplane graveyard, in Bangkok? Yes, it exists and it’s open to the public. Roam around the abandoned 747 airplane wreckage for a truly unique experience. There’s a small entrance fee to access this private land and it’s advised to be careful of any sharp objects. You can get here by ferry or taxi.
FLOATING MARKETS
Bangkok’s floating markets are buzzing with local traders and market owners selling fresh produce and crafts. Cruise along the waterways and find yourself something special to take home. Some of the most popular to visit are Damnoen Saduak, Amphawa and Talin Chan.
WAT SAMPHRAN AKA DRAGON TEMPLE
A pink dragon temple resides in Khlong Mai, and nobody really knows about it. This 17-story temple is off the beaten track and visitors can walk through the dragon itself up to the top. The views are seriously breath-taking! Wat Samphran is about 40 km west of Bangkok city.
