Very nice hotel, nicely decorated, very polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice - included in the rate so can't comment at the cost.
Two bad things - bathroom floor got wet every time shower used and nowhere to put towel whilst in the shower. Secondly and much worse we got bitten by bedbugs alas. I got 7 bites and my husband 2. I'm sure they were bedbugs partly from the parts of the body that were bitten and partly becuase we once got one of our home bedrooms infested and became expert on them for a short while. I know they are currently a problem in cities such as London and New York .... Paris too. I don't think this would stop me staying there again though....

We had a fabulous stay at L'Empire! The hotel exceeded our expectations and it was complete luxury from beginning to end. The breakfast was excellent too!!
