La Primavera

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for 10 nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful its extremely clean (extremely) and the food at the hotel restaurant was very nice we stayed for dinner 2 nights while we were there. We went to Rome for the day the Manager at the hotel gave us advise on the best way to get there but we needed to be at the main station at 5.50am its a 15 minute bus drive and we weren't sure if the bus would come on time etc the hotel manager said he would take us in his car no problem! We had a large terrace with 2 sun beds and a table and chairs we had the sun on the terrace pretty much all day. The hotel was well positioned there were a few shops and restaurants and the bus stop that took you into Sorrento the buses were very frequent during the day so we didn't need to hire a car as the transport was good. However the buses do go less frequently at night and one night (on our 2nd night) we had to get a taxi back it cost us 40 euros but luckily there was another couple in the same position but the hotel Manager at La Primavera said if we ever get stuck or need a lift then we must call him he will come and get us and he gave us his telephone number. You can walk to the Port it is a bit of a walk but it is all down hill and there are buses that go every hour or so if you don't fancy walking. We would walk down and get a bus back.
