Hotel Lal is very friendly. The staff were responsive to our needs. The food is good and the restaurant has relaxed eating areas inside and outside. The hotel is situated up the hill in Lalibela which means it is less dusty than in town and convenient for heading off to the small bars at the top of the hill for a sunset drink.
