Extremely friendly and helpful staff, the room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast superb. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel when we arrived in the morning and again to leave them all of the following day, picking them up when we were ready to go back to the train station which is roughly a ten minute walk. You are about two minutes from the centre of Bath. We went for a ladies of a certain age shopping weekend and it was absolutely ideal. We would most definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again. If I were to be extremely picky I would say that the only possible drawback is that the soundproofing isn't great if other guests roll in late and bang doors.
