The Frog At Skirmett

Nestled in the heart of the Hambleden Valley in a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' the Frog is centrally located in the village of Skirmett. An 18th Century coaching inn The Frog enjoys an enviable location surrounded by the rolling hills of the Chilterns meadows and masses of wildlife. We have a lovely flower filled child-friendly garden with far reaching views across the valley which is perfect in the summer months. The public bar is the heart of the Frog. Entering the Frog through the main door one is immediately greeted by a large roaring fire (throughout the winter months) which is surrounded by leather and oak seating. There’s a well-stocked bar friendly bar staff and importantly because the Frog is a Free house varying specials of beer wine and spirits are also on offer. Accommodation. We have three rooms available at the Frog all of which have en-suite facilities (please be aware one of our room has a bathtub with no shower facility) and all of which include the fantastic 'Frog breakfast'. Each room has a television and views of the valley. The Frog is very quietly situated and a good nights sleep is assured. WE ARE CLOSED BETWEEN 3PM AND 6PM DAILY. Access is NOT available between these times.

We have three overnight rooms available at the Frog all of which have en-suite facilities and whilst two of the rooms have shower facilities please be aware one of the rooms has a bath ONLY. Each room has a television and window views of the valley. Included in the room rate is the fantastic Frog breakfast.
