Hotel itself was well appointed and modern. The rooms were spacious and quite well equipped. The hotel let itself down on the maintenance side. The common areas were not cleaned regularly, bins not emptied, breakfast items not topped up and a general lack of enthusiasm to provide a customer service. The housekeeping was not up to other Hampton Inns, often coffees and cups were not replaced after use, table tops were not wiped clean and on one day the room was not cleaned at all. The pool was good but again not maintained properly, leaves in the jacuzzi, rubbish not cleared away, used towels left aroun overnight etc. There was a general lack of leadership to this hotel which is a shame as it would make an enormous difference
