Room is a studio apartment with sofa ,easy to pull down in to bed which is already made up with clean sheets etc .has cooker, fridge,micro,telly (no Brit channs)decent bathroom shower etc its OK my problem was arrived 8.30 due to bad traffic situ.no porter who u were supposed to collect room key from .no answer from emergency no in foyer which a kind resident had let me in to ,I must have looked like an honest Englishman ,although a bit bedraggled after a long drive from Carcassonne ,eventually I rang travel republic spoke to Ben who was fantastic he sorted it out for me porter turned up after 15mins took me to little safe on 2nd floor where there was an envelope with my name on & a key inside ,turned out porter had gone out for a meal the French take a lot longer than us to eat it seems !! This place is OK but it needs a better system for access if yer late arriving .big thanks to Ben at travel republic for getting me a good nights sleep

It took us four laps of the area to find the hotel - not the best signage in a busy city area. If you can get parked around the back of the block near the bus stops and under the trees then parking is free. The complex is within a short walk of the cathedral and city centre. The manager was very helpful as we struggled to connect to the wifi - the instructions in the booklet were out of date as the hotel has changed systems recently. The wifi itself was absolutely rubbish. The connection was very poor and disconnections were frequent. The apartment was a studio flat with a little kitchen area and a shower room. The living area had a fold out sofa bed which was adequate. There was also a small dining table with chairs which was useful. The kitchen came with plates/cutlery etc and there was an inventory of items supposed to be in the apartment, stuck on the kitchen cupboard door.... This did not correlate with the items actually in the apartment. The shower was poor. The room was clean and modern. This was the first place that we have actually been able to make our own cup of coffee (kettle & cups supplied, coffee, milk & sugar not supplied) as hotel accommodation in Frances doesn't come with those facilities in the rooms.

To be honest the apartment did not live up to the pictures. Fold down bed was unexpected, although very comfortable. Only one restaurant nearby and that was expensive. BUT, BUT. There is a Carrefour across the road. Since the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area we had an excellent evening meal of salmon, beef, salad and strawberries and cream plus a substantial breakfast all for less than £15. We have never ever had a hotel where the hot water was really hot. The water here was scalding. An excellent shower, which did not go cold half way through. WiFi was a little complex to install but very fast. FINALLY. Do you read the "Welcome" folder. Well don't. We made that mistake. The final page asks you to strip the bed and take your rubbish to the basement "poublelles". If we had not read it we would have been oblivious, but having read it we could not for shame not comply. In reality, it only took 5 minutes. This was our first time with this chain but we will certainly use them again. Great value for money.

Clean and nice room and there is a free car park behind the building. When you arrive later in the evening make sure you have a phone with you as doors are locked and you would need to call someone to let you into the building.

Staff were outstanding in giving help & information. Room & facilities good / clean / comfortable Accessiblity by car a bit hairy - and unloading luggage - if you are unfamiliar with Orleans
