pros.. Staff very friendly and helpful, room clean, sink in room, beds comfy. small fridge in room, and a kettle. two sachets of coffee, two t bags, two sugars, two creamers. twin beds. loads of electric sockets. 24hour reception. cons.. walls are thin, the doors are slamming all night. so you cant get a good nights sleep. we booked a return whaling tour and was told that we would be dropped off back at the hotel, but we was left at the harbour. I know this has nothing to do with the hotel, but we only saw a whale in the distance. and was told at the end of the tour that it is legal for Iceland to hunt whales, and whale meat is sold in restaurants, So dont bother paying £50.00 for the tour. Restaurants are very expensive. we got 179 krona to the £, and a cooked breakfast would cost £18.00, 10 eggs from the supermarket £5.50 a cut loaf £2.50..... We enjoyed the Blue lagoon, very relaxing. when you finish, use a lot of conditioner on your hair, because it really dries it out.
