Although it wasn't our cup of tea, am sure loads would love it. Built in 1840ish, our room seemed fairly original, big bath/shower, very good. Original tiny balcony (we imagine), sloping down to open courtyard in middle of hotel. Breakfast same every day (we booked five nights) just crossiants (one each) two rolls cut in half, lightly toasted, with butter plus three little jams between us, coffee or tea, served at your table. They have eight bedrooms in hotel, so eight tables downstairs in reception/lounge/bar/courtyard, but service is pleasantly served.

A Quaint hotel in the centre of the old town with a shabby chic decor. Rooms are large and staff are very friendly. The breakfast is very basic, but good enough. It is, however, very noisy, from the opening of room doors with the large clunky old fashioned keys, to the echoing of footsteps on the wooden floors, not to mention the cleaning of streets and emptying of bins in the early hours. One side of the hotel is noisier than the other as there is a restaurant below the rooms. That said, you expect these things in the centre of any town. It is very convenient for exploring and you can walk everywhere.
