This was the second most expensive of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our 8 day touring holiday of the West of Ireland. I felt it was living on past glories as I found it unfriendly. The parking was particularly difficult having to park not in the hotel (full) but in a nearby multi storey car park. The room was small and of the two nights one was particularly noisy with guests banging doors. The breakfast was good and we liked the numerous pictures decorating the hotel. I enjoyed going out to the pubs abd restaurants in Quay Street and the High Street. I met up with an old friend who is a professor at NUI Galway.
