The apartments at peyda are pretty basic. The rooms however are very spacious with alot of storage space and provided everything you need for a self catering holiday. We didnt pay much and I feel that we got more than we paid for. The staff who work in this complex were very friendly and great fun to be around. There was never a dull moment and I cant wait to go back next year!!!!

We arrived at Peyda Aqua early hours of Saturday 27th October. We were put in Room 414. No bedding at all, no lights in main room, no flushing loo, no hot water, broken taps, broken loo, all doors in kitchen hanging off. Looked dirty and hardly any crockery, what was there you would have to wash first before use. We spent the first night sleeping in our clothes with our own towels as covers. The following day we noticed the pool was out of use and a stagnant green colour, the on-site shop was also closed, I did not feel any shred of confidence in eating any food there, so we complained and we were moved to Room 415. Much better, but obviously privately owned and still not everything in good working order. At this stage we hadn't even unpacked. We put up with this room until the Monday, (everything still packed) when a Last Minute Holidays Rep moved us to the Tuntas Apartments on the other side of Altinkum, which was a big improvement. We later heard in the second week of our holiday that the Management Company running the Peyda Aqua owed 30,000+ turkish lira electricity bill and that the company had cut off all the electrics to the place, despite taking the electric fees off their private tenants. This Management Group had also been letting rooms out without the private tenants knowledge and had changed tenants locks. Room 415 was one of these rooms, and we hadn't even a clue!! Without doubt a horrendous experience we will not be repeating. Although, I can see that with extensive refurbishment, TLC, and the right management company in place Peyda Aqua could be an asset rather than a liability.
