A good hotel in a nice area with the worst staff in the world, rude, not helpful etc... the are closing the hotel at the end of the year to build a new hotel, so maybe this is the reason for the staff rudeness

We enjoyed a lovely meal in our room with extra bits and pieces, ie good quality bread with harrisa etc., having enjoyed this experience we decided to repeat on the following day, but just got the meals and minus the 'nice bits and pieces'. Although having said this, this appears to be a trait in Tunisia and I am learning fast never to eat in the same place twice, if it was good the first time, keep the memory as they appear to fail miserably on the second occasion.
