Located close to Luxor Temple, within walking distance of many shops, bars and restaurants, St Joseph Hotel is a small, family-run property, which has been popular with British holiday makers for a number of years. The rooftop pool offers guests splendid views of the River Nile and the West Bank, which are adjacent to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and include air-conditioning and satellite TV. I was absolutely amazed - not expecting to get this standard of accommodation for the price I paid! Good, clean rooms; Nile view; restaurant on site; friendly, helpful staff.

We were looking for a cost-effective 1 night stopover hotel having flown into Luxor and were planning to move on to Aswan the next day. This place fitted the bill perfectly.
The hotel is most definitely in the budget category and generally is looking a bit tired throughout but importantly the room was neat and tidy, bed clean and comfortable and bathroom spotless (fantastic shower). Breakfast was more than adequate. Staff were pleasant and attentive.
We didn't use the rooftop pool & bar area other than to go up and take in the great view of the river but there were people up there enjoying the facilities.

This is a great budget hotel in Luxor and most rooms have a view across the Nile. The roof top pool is nice and sunny and also has great views across the Nile and the West bank.
The staff are friendly, they keep the rooms nice, always hot water near lots of european owned shops and restaurants.
I have been 3 times to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone for this budget range.
