On the island of Malta, St Paul's Bay is the largest tourist resort. It's filled with cafes, restaurants and bars, and the promenade runs alongside the pebble beach at Mistra Bay. The bazaars and backstreets of St Paul's Bay are also fun to explore – and don't forget to haggle. If you're shopping at one of the town's main shops and supermarkets, you'll find that payment cards are widely accepted. Not far from the bay, Popeye Village draws lots of families and cartoon fans to Malta. The park is the film set used for the Popeye musical in 1980. St Paul's Bay attracts divers, snorkellers and water babies alike. It's also where you'll find the National Aquarium of Malta, the main tank containing fish and marine life from the Indian Ocean.
