  • “ Excellent location - Times Square and Rockefeller Centre within easy walking distance as was a huge variety of restaurants. The room was OK but the decor was very dull. Too much brown! If you want theatre tickets don't ask the consierge to arrange them.

Good breakfast, continental or American available at a reasonable price. Hotel had a burst water pipe in the middle of the nite. Fire alarm rang for ages. Lobby was flooded, ceiling damaged but didn't affect the running of the hotel. Would recommend this hotel to friends.

If you want theatre tickets don't ask the consierge to arrange them. The cheapest he has on offer are $195 per person! Go to the ticket booth in Times Square for a great deal. We got 50% off the price of tickets to see Jersey Boys ($65 each) and the seats were excellent.

“ Top Tip: Olympic Diner just around the corner is a great place for breakfast. Doesn't look much from the outside but well worth a visit!

“ Have just arrived home having stayed at the Belverder for a week. Really happy with it. Very helpful staff Microwave and fridge in room so was able to have lots of treats and cups of tea!!!
Houskeeping good, towels changed every day.
Will definately stay there again.
5 mins walk from Times Square absolutely ideal.

“ Top Tip: "Smiths Diner" only a block away, well worth a visit nice food friendly staff and although a sports type bar non sporty people will feel comfortable.

“ Have stayed in this hotel before and would go back. Good location for easy movement around New York and for the Theatre. Plenty of places for eating around the hotel. Room has everything you need from a good hairdryer, iron and ironing board to a microwave and fridge. Hotel staff were all excellent, from the minute you enter the hotel till you leave. Consierge services great - providing information on anything from how to get somewhere to making bookings for you.

“ Top Tip: Good little diner on 8th Avenue between 48th and 49th for a reasonably priced breakfast. Doesn't look much from the outside but food was excellent and good value.

“ Staff were very polite. Room very disappointing. Bathroom far too small for what was described as a quadruple room! Had a kitchenette but no means to heat any water (no kettle). Not what I was expecting.

“ Top Tip: Nice Italian restaurant on same street as hotel.
