We were disappointed in the Sadigo Court. We picked it because it had good reviews on Tripadvisor, and it was affordable (we were staying over New Year which is incredibly expensive in Miami), but it didn't really meet our expectations.
We had a ground floor 'deluxe' suite which was spacious with a kitchenette/lounge and a large adjoining bedroom with en suite bathroom. Unfortunately, the room was dingy because the overgrown plants around the hotel blocked the windows (which all had bars on them).
The bedroom seemed stark, and the bathroom was shabby. It had the potential to be a great room, but a dew dollars need to be spent to bring the standard of the rooms and decoration up.
I don't like to be so negative, so the plus points were the garden, the comfy bed and daily fresh fruit. The rooms were also kept clean. The hotel is a five minute walk to the beach and two minute walk to Collins Avenue where all the big hotels are, so it's not as far away from the action as we had expected.
I probably wouldn't stay at the Sadigo Court again, but that's not to say that it isn't a good budget option. Just make sure you only pay budget prices.
“ Top Tip: Try the balsamic blue salad at Maxine's on Collins Avenue not far from the hotel. It's an amazing salad with cranberries, walnuts and blue cheese... Yum! Plus, don't spend lots of money in bars and restaurants at New Year. We had a great night on Ocean Drive soaking up the atmosphere and watching the fireworks.
