In Manchester’s most celebrated building, the historic Free Trade Hall, stylish spaces create a mood of understated luxury in the city centre, moments from Manchester Central and MICC. “ The staff were fantastic, extremely helpful, polite and personable. The room was lovely. Very clean spacious and had every thing you could possibly need including a beautiful view of the city. In all fairness I can't fault the hotel, the bar or the restaurant and will definitely be revisiting in the future

“ Staff were really friendly, the whole place looked amazing. The room was comfortable, bed was really big and we both got a good night's sleep on it! Dressing area was particularly impressive. I wanted to move in! We stayed at the Manchester Hilton the month before and this was cheaper and nicer too. We decided to have breakfast next day and I honestly couldn't fault it. There were no chocolate bakery items and when I went to ask the waiter he went in the back to get me some :-) Full English was done really well. Atmosphere was laid back with radio on and morning papers available. The only minor bad thing was that one of the lifts was a bit off sometimes it didn't want to go to our floor for some reason! I would definitely recommend this hotel and the price isn't bad at all.

Excellent service and attention to detail, good room with all facilities one could need. Fine dining experience was perfect.
The only very slight negative is the parking, but there is no real alternative given the location and the history of the site. Perhaps a remnder signpost from the NCP back to the hotel would be useful as it is a bit of a maze around the hotel.
“ Top Tip: Have an umbrella in the car for the walk from car park back to hotel!
