Room size very small and windows do not open fully, leaving the rooms uncomfortably warm, causing my partner to get heat stroke and require medication.

Top Tip: The retro bar across the road from this hotel has fantastic food for great prices. alot nicer than the hotel menu.

Grand hotel for what it was needed for.
For my group of people (3 couples aging from 18-21, sleeping in "city double rooms") it was basically for sleeping, breakfast and for getting ready for going out at night.
The room is quite small (think of a double bed, pushed into a corner, you can stand around the other available sides, that's all the floor space you have + a bathroom) but that's all we needed as we weren't lounging in them all day. Towels were replaced every second day and the bed changed once in our 4 day stay.
Their food is good though I only had breakfast each day. The bar is a good spot if you want to grab a footie match or that but quiet otherwise.
Only bad point, the bedroom window does not open very far and the room can get quite stuffy during the day, it does cool down at nighttime though!

Top Tip: The Retro Bar, is a black pub next door is a grand spot for grabbing breakfast, or lunch! its very cheap and does good grub! 1 pound for a scrambled egg on toast!
