Rooms were incredible small , when we asked for an upgrade we were told by staff that all rooms were the same. Bathroom was so small thatthe door hit the toilet. The finish in the hallways and in the rooms of a bad standard, I. E. The skirting boards windows sills also draft from the windows in the room as they are quite old. We asked for a room with a view was never mentioned by staff at reception when checking in and we were given a room at the very back of the hotel which certainly didn't have a view but also the window was frosted and so small that even if there was a view we wouldn't have been able to enjoy it. When we arrived to check in staff had problems finding the booking. The major advantage to this hotel is it's location. We asked staff at reception for a number of a restaurant we wanted to make a reservation for , we got the number from reception phoned and made our booking with the restaurant however when we arrived at the restaurant they was no reservation made for us , as staff at reception had given us the wrong number for the restaurant . Very disapointing for a four star hotel

Top Tip: Jamies Italian restaurant assembly rooms.
