Some bedrooms are a bit small but are very clean and nicely decorated and furnished.
Restaurant has amazing views and delightful staff. This hotel must have one of the best locations in Istanbul - highly recommended.

Top Tip:
If you like watching football while abroad the North Shield will not disappoint and only 200 metres away. They also do great cocktails.
The Salute restaurant in the road at the back of the hotel is very good with a selection of traditional turkish dishes.

The Yasmak Sultan is a hospitable hotel near all the important cultural sights in Istanbul.
Staff are friendly and the small pool and spa area was a nice sanctuary on a rainy afternoon.
A highlight was the breakfast buffet which is sumptuous and the rooftop restaurant has a panoramic view of Istanbul.
One qualifier is that the standard rooms are fairly small (though clean) so couples you need to be on good terms with your room mate!
I think if you're looking for a base to take in the top 5 sights in Istanbul on a long weekend this will be an excellent choice.

“ It was a very beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and perfectly located in the midle of the old city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our breakfast too. I would rate this hotel as 12 out of 10 and give it 5 star rating all the way!
“ Top Tip: Recommend to visit one of the darvish ceremonies in Hadjapasha cultural centre nearby.
