  • I'm fussy but have to this hotel is excellent. The staff, food, location etc was faultless. In and around the hotel all well maintained and very clean. Would definitely recommend this establishment. Being part of the marina also ensures that the hotel retains a high level of privacy.

Check-in date:

Great location. We stayed at this hotel in September 2012 and this time( May 2013 ) the hotel seemed to be short staffed. The weather was good but the pool bar wasn't open, about to open as we were leaving after a weeks holiday. We got drinks eventually but it was difficult to find staff to serve you. Also, some of the garden area needed attention and in some areas it looked unkept. On the whole the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely, although looking tired in some places (carpets worn etc.) and we would definately go back there again as it has such a lovely atmosphere and location with stunning views of the marina and near to the old town.

Top Tip: The old town, the harbour, the Fish market. Great shops too. The rep, Davud, was brilliant and arranged a meal in a restaurant in called Levissi, in Kaya Koya. Good food and great views of the "Ghost Town" and he took us there and brought us back to the hotel.

Top Tip: A visit to the local boatyard is very interesting. The town is also close and there are plenty restaurant bars etc.

Efficient, friendly and helpful staff makes this a highly desirable hotel. Needs some refurbishment so don't expect a palace but an enjoyable place to stay in a glorious location...

Top Tip: Have a Turkish bath! The place in Calis Beach was fab and gave the best massage we have ever had. Book via the holiday rep for a bargain price and they will even pick you up from the hotel....

Excellent hotel set in the heart of the Ece Saray marina.
Very clean and nicely set out. One of the major plus points was the level of service from the staff, very impressed with them. The restaurant staff are excellent and nothing was any trouble for them.

We tried the Hamman and I enjoyed being contorted and scrubbed, if you are a masochist then this is for you! :)

Breakfast was very good, you can sit out on the balcony and survey the yachts and surrounding snow peaked mountains; a lovely way to start the day.
Dinner was good but the menu choice a little limited, but this was probably because the season hasn't really started.

Fethiye is a very nice town too, the people are also very friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommended!!!

Top Tip: Do walk all the around the bay, walk through the working boat yard as this is an eye opener and also towards the town, keep an eye out for the turtles and fish right near the edge too.
Plenty of bars/restaurants too.

Check-in date:

Our stay at Ece Saray had been something on our wish list for a long time. The art deco appearance of this lovely hotel takes one back to an era of luxury and attention to detail missing in the modern glass and steel buildings of today.
The service and quality of the restaurant was superb and the standard of room we were allocated was excellent.
Our room faced the sea and the yachts and boats anchored in the marina looked so peaceful and picturesque and we knew that a thousand photographs would not capture the magic of that view.
Although the building exterior needs some attention to cracked plaster and balconies we were assured that this was actioned for the winter months. Even so this did not spoil for one minute our enjoyment of feeling very lucky and special people to have been staying here

Top Tip: The location on the marina was perfect for walks along the waterfront and it was close enough to the town centre to sample the restaurants and shops.
A must is the fish market for delicious fresh fish chosen by yourself from the stalls and cooked to your preference at the small restaurants surrounding the fish counters!!
The ruins of the Amphitheater are 100 meters outside the hotel and well worth seeing
