“ Cannot fault this hotel. The only criticism I have is that some of the food wasn't always as hot as it could have been. But I would definitely return.

The Barcelo Varadero is located in the southwest of Tenerife next to the los Gigantes Cliffs and has exceptional views of the island of Gomera and Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain. Built on an area covering 21,000 square metres, in Creole architectural style, the hotel offers a wide range of facilities and services including a buffet restaurant, lounge bar, snack pool bar, three swimming pools, 1 children swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, miniclub and entertainment.
“ As we live in Tenerife we use the this hotel several times a year for short breaks. This year we were a little disappointed... our beds were rock hard and we had the worst three nights sleep we had ever had.

“ Reasonably priced and value for money for an all inclusive holiday. Food was ok with variety each evening, drinks were self service, plentiful and to a good standard. Pool area was crowded and overy limited sunbeds available. Pool area opened at 10.00am but guests queued from 9.15am to ensure best sunbed spot. Would return again if we wanted a cheap and cheerful break.

Bahia Flamingo is located in the quieter resort of Playa de la Arena where you can soak up the sun on one of the islands beautiful natural black sand beaches. There is a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance and the majestic Los Gigantes cliffs are just 2km away. The hotel has stunning views of the sea and of La Gomera and their friendly staff will make you feel very welcome. The hotel is located approximately 40 km from the airport and 25km from Playa de la Americas.
“ Hotel setting is lovely and we were on 2nd floor with a great view. Room was basic and a bit worn, but for the price was perfectly acceptable. It was clean and the towels and sheets changed regularly .

The Dragos del Sur Aparthotel is situated on the sea front of Puerto de Santiago, nearby is Playa de la Arena. All apartments have balconies with patio furniture, some with sea views. The complex has a heated swimming pool, gym, sauna and solarium.
“ Have stayed at this hotel before so we knew what to expect. Remenber it is only 3 star but the staff are friendly and helpful. The accommodation is quite basic but there is everthing you need. Pool is great but not heated so brace yourself. we didn.t eat at the hotel so can not comment on food.
