“ Great location but would recommend not to pay extra for a sea view as this doesn't guarantee you a view at all as if you are on the lower floors view is obscured by trees. Poolside views better chance of good outlook without paying more.8.4 Great

“ Excellent stay as always this October. Sea views always worth the extra few €'s as the views are stunning.
“ Top Tip: Make sure you have a night out in The Auld Triangle just up the road from The Jardin del Mar. Owner & singer Kevin Heaslip will have you in stitches one minute, dancing the next and never without a smile on your face until its time to go to bed! The best place for families, couples & younger people looking for quiet, late pints with live music & a bit of Craic!

“ Just back from 12 days in Jardin Del Mar, as always I read all the bad reviews before my holiday which worries us about the quality of the hotel, may I add, we read a lot of bad reviews. I have to say that it was quite the opposite, the hotel was very clean and tidy, rooms were clean and well maintained each day if you wanted. We paid for a superior room, all superior rooms are sea view and more spacious, when we arrived all the superior rooms were full, so they tried to pawn off a regular room on us without saying anything, we realized straight away so we went straight down as challenged them on it, they upgraded us to the penthouse apartment while we waited for our room to be free, which was 2 days. When our room became free they gave us the choice between 2 rooms, 520 & 712. 712 by far the best choice, stunning stunning views which is the best part of this hotel. The balcony was huge with 2 sunbeds which was the benefit over the regular rooms. Pool area was Lovely and well maintained, life guard was great, she was very friendly and great with kids. Only bad thing I have to say was the reserving of sunbeds by the pool, the doors to the pool area open at 9am and people literally run to get sun beds, pretty sad to see to be honest, adults acting in this manner, to make it worse, they will leave once their towels are on the sunbeds and not return for an hour or 2. So if you are not on the ball in the morning you will struggle to get a sunbed, but having said that, there wasn't a day that we did not get one!!! Superb location, right on the sea front, with a private cove which is lovely. The square is across the road where there is fantastic entertainment the main town and strip is 15 min walk, a lovely walk. I recommend this hotel. PS: I read reviews of theft in this hotel, I did not experience this, however I heard of cases of theft from other guests while we were there, how true they were I do not know, although we did not leave anything to chance and kept all expensive items with us at all time, phones, tablets, passports and money etc, that is common practice for us anyway.
“ Top Tip: The cove, the square, Boston O'Bradys restaurant on the strip was gorgeous. Western water park was a great day, get there early and rent a floater, only way to go!!! WEATHER!!!!!
