The Arona Gran Hotel is an elegant hotel which combines a luxurious atmosphere with a relaxed ambience. The hotel is well situated on the outskirts of Los Cristianos so guests can take advantage of the lively resort or relax in the hotel's sunny gardens which overlook the beach. Facilities include three swimming pools, a gym, sauna and squash/tennis courts. A buffet style restaurant and 4 bars are also available.

Perfectly situated, set beside the waters of the Atlantic Ocean on the island's south coast, a few minutes away from both the town centre and airport. The 151 bedrooms and suites are uniquely craftsmen decorated and equipped with all modern amenities. Further providing five gourmet restaurants and five bars catering for all tastes, as well as a Spa offering several treatments.
“ This hotel was not as good as we had hoped, it is not a 5 star, more like 4 star. Once we had booked in we felt we were abandoned and had to find out the hard way were and how to get fed. A couple of the staff were very good but these were the exceptions as most of the staff were oblivious to our needs.

“ Our stay did not begin very well because we were given a flat 2.floor without elevator so we had to climb 32 steps to enter. Inside we had still 16 steps to bathroom and sleepingromms. My sister is nearly 78 years old and we needed assistance to get our luggage upstairs and the hotel was helpful in that.

The Golf Plaza Apartments are located in Golf del Sur, which lies fifteen minutes from Reina Sofia Airport on the south coast of Tenerife. It is within a short taxi ride from Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos. The apartments offer 24 hr reception, 2 adult swimming pools, one of which is heated, an ample sun terrace with umbrellas and hammocks, a children's pool, a discotheque , a self-service laundry, a supermarket, car rental and spa. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner buffet style and you can also enjoy light snacks at the pool bar.
“ Lovely hotel with very large rooms. Maid service daily and very clean quiet hotel. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Great pool area. Close to most amenities. We had a late afternoon flight and were provided with a room for an hour to wash and shower free of charge. Would definitely recommend.

“ Hotel ok, clean - room very good (006) great view on ground floor looking towards pool. Negative - food not very good (been to quite a few 4 stars on island and this was the worst food) - cold, meat very tough - I had cheese salad for my main meal for 4 nights on the run.

“ Have been to Teneriffe many times, this was the best hotel we have stayed in, including Time Share apartments. The food was excellent, and varied, all the staff where very friendly, and could not do enough to please. All in all and excellent holiday at an excellent Hotel, will definately return.
