“ Top Tip: Very good pizza in a small pizzeria on a side street across the bridge from the spar shop and on the second right hand turn into a side street. They mostly do take away but have a few tables outside.

The hotel was really comfortable with lovely rooms and gardens. Everywhere inside and outside was immaculate. The staff were very friendly and the water gymnastics and water polo were great fun, great exercise and very well.
The selection of food for both breakfast and dinner was second to none.
“ Top Tip: Across the road from the shopping centre there is a road going uphill. This road has a gate on it and is no longer used by traffic but it is possible to walk it. If you have an interest in walking this is the road for you, you can walk up to the headland and around by the light house where you will be affforded fantastic views of the port and beach. It is also possible to walk about one and a half hours on the road which leads to another cove and beach with absolutely nothing on it. The gate at this end closes at 4pm and there is no way back so it is important to keep an eye on the time. It is always possible to get through the gate at the Mogan end.
