“ Just returned from a ten night break at the Playa Park in Fuerteventura. On arrival we were informed by the desk receptionist, a very pleasant young man, that there was a problem with the plumbing in our apartment and would we mind spending our first night in the Brisemar and our apartment would be ready the next day around 1pm. For the inconvenience caused we could have our safe and TV free for our stay and a taxi to take us to and from the Brisemar. On the following morning we arrived at the Playa Park to have our luggage stored, so we could go to the beach for the day and returned later in the day to be checked in very efficiently by the same young man. We were given apartment 202 on the ground floor right beside the pool. The complex is kept very clean and the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The apartment has all you need for self catering but the TV has only news Channels in English. It would be nice if there was a movie channel. It is just a few hundred yards from the bus stop, shopping centre and pubs but a 15 minute walk will take you to Main street where there is an abundance of pubs, restaurants and shops. The beaches out at the Riu Hotels are a short bus ride cost €1.20 and the go for miles. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go there again, hopefully next May.
“ Top Tip: For the independent traveller the local bus No3 runs from the airport to Puerto del Rosario every half hour and you can get a bus to anywhere on the island from there and the fare is really cheap.
