The welcoming apartment hotel was built in 2002 and consists of a main building and a neighbouring building each with 6 floors. The buildings contain 189 single rooms, 35 doubles and 224 apartments. The facilities include a spacious lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk, a games room and a TV room. In addition, there is also a cosy cafe, a bar, a pub, a newspaper stand, a disco and an air-conditioned e la carte restaurant with highchairs available for children.
The hotel also offers a laundry service and medical assistance. A playground and car parking facilities are also available.This hotel is located on a main street on the edge of Fuengirola, opposite the fortress. It is 1 km to the stunning sandy beach and the resort's centre. There is a bus stop just a stone's throw away from the hotel.All the rooms are en-suite and fitted with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a fridge, tiling, a safe, air conditioning, central heating and a balcony (except in the study). Additionally, the apartments contain a kitchen (with electric cooker, microwave and a fridge) and a separate bedroom.The hotel features its own swimming pool, a freshwater pool with children's paddling area, deck chairs, parasols, water aerobic sessions, a hot tub, a sauna, massage treatments, a gym, archery, pool/snooker, bocce and a seasonal entertainment programme.

“ hotel/apartments very suitable for our needs away from all the noise of nightclubs. Staff very corteous and helpful. Had buffett dinner on our first night which was excellent value for €15. Only fault was that food at breakfast was not very hot.
“ Top Tip: Nice 15 minute walk to beach, / promenade,shopping centre just around corner with plenty of shops to cater for all types of shopping.

This visit was a short one but i needed the relaxation and got it. I have stayed about five times now at this hotel. It is brilliant for the small children. Activities by the pool all day for them. Adults are also dragged into games and aqua aerobics. They are great fun too. Evening entertainment covers all age brackets. The Entertainment Team are so lively, pleasant and friendly especially Martha who has been there each time we visited. Pool side bar stays open till twelve. An inside bar was open one year we were there however it is now closed. Pity to see it closed. Maybe they will reconsider and open this. On our last visit we had to rush home under upsetting circumstances. Pablo at reception was exceptional in looking after us. Glad to have met him this time and thanked him for his assistance. All at reception are pleasant and helpful but Pablo really showed exceptional sympathy and understanding in our case. Thanks again Pablo.
If i was to make one criticism, its a pity that one of the gates at the shopping centre side could not be used by visitors with a key card. It can be a long walk around on a hot day. A small shop at reception just covering the basics - bread, milk, water, butter - would be helpful when you arrive. I know there is a supermarket in the shopping centre but when you first go there it is so big, makes it difficult to find basics. Again just a small criticism.
The plan for us is to be back again.

Top Tip:
Bikini Beach is the best. Turn right out of the hotel, continue past the front of the shopping centre and follow the road under the bridge. stay right of the foot bridge and continue a couple of hundred yards. Its so relaxing and has lovely music playing all the time. Tops

We stayed at the Myramar castle beach for a week and had a great time. There is plenty of activities all day long for children to get involved in if they wish. Great pool, friendly staff, and very clean.
Beach is about 10-15 minute walk. It's the same to the main strip of restaurants and bars. Bus and taxi's were cheap enough and being that bit away meant no noise at night time.
“ Top Tip: Kids loves the aqua park, Bio-park (zoo) and amusements all nearby.
