“ We had a very enjoyable stay. The appartment was very well appointed and the complex very well tended. The family owned Spanish restaurant was excellent, both in the quality of the food and the value for money prices. All staff in reception were helpful and friendly. Overall our holiday was exactly what we were looking for and we would return without hesitation!

The Club la Costa is about 20 minutes from Malaga airport by shuttle . The train station is in the airport so depending on what time of day you land the train will take you into Fuengirola and its a taxi ride or 20 min walk to resort.
Once at CLC check in takes 10 mins approx to allocate your rooms. the apartments are spotless clean and modern.Hairdryer in bathroom good shower and bath and bidet and toilet. Small kitchenette with washing machine microwave fridge coffee maker kettle toaster. No cooker in the one we stayed in this year. plates cutlery etc.
We had 2 x 1 bed apartments in front of pool and Zacharys , so although this very handy , it was very noisy till midnight from live singers and the pumps from pool go on through the night and are noisy. Workers cleaning pool talk loudly very early just outside rooms. Just something to be aware of as we had very quiet apartments last year with own garden so were a little dissapointed .
Having said that the grounds and facilities are fantastic , and would go a 3rd time just would request apartments away from pool area. Was chilly at night but there are heaters in the rooms.
We did not hire a car and either walked or used public transport to get about , which is cheap and very clean and efficient. Main bus station and train station 20 min walk into Fuengirola. Taxis are on Club La Costa near reception . The walk is along the beach so is pleasant enough. The apartments are uphill so be prepared for that if walking is a problem. The Bioparc is well worth going to a bit pricey but worth it. Several well stocked supermarkets good prices and everything you need.

Top Tip:
The Ponderosa bar and restaurant is well worth a visit or 5 . The food is generous portion wise and very good. Lovely staff nothing too much trouble. Live music some nights, pool table and room with televisions and comfy chairs .Juke box.
Myramar shopping centre 20 minute walk along the main road . Has everthing inc massive Supermarket like a huge asda/ tesco .

“ Nice Place with lovely grounds and friendly staff. We stayed with three children 11, 6 & 4. We chose the half board option and this was our only fault with this complex. We were assigned to one restaurant for our meals (Zacarys). when booking I assumed that half board was going to be on a buffet basis but instead it was a specific menu in the restaurant for the half board clients. It was not as varied as the al la cart menu & to be honest it made you feel a little like a second class guest. There was also quiet a lot of confusion each night as to what menu you got and what you should be charged for at the end of your meal. To add to the confusion the kids had to eat from a kids menu which was seperate again. Our 11 year old girl is not a chicken nugget kind of eater and wanted to order from the adult menu but this was not allowed. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was just a little mean. Having said all that we still enjoyed our stay and would go back. The swimming pool felt very safe, well manned by competent and friendly lifeguards. Also the entertainment around the pool was very well run and not in your face if you didn't want to be involved. All the staff are friendly and polite.

“ The resort was like a small village. There r restaurants, shops, playgrounds and swimming pools.u didn't need to leave the place u could get there everything u need when on holidays. The apt. Was small but there was everything u may need from stake knifes to blenders and coffee machine. I'd definitely recommend it. The nearest town wa 30 min walk. That could be annoying for people that want to go out for de nite in town cause de last bus is at 11.30pm but there was plenty of taxis.

“ Excellent apartments spotless and very spacious staff very friendly and helpful within the reception area porters ect but you wouldnt want to be hungry when ordering food.Zachary's bar was the slowest place I have ever been where service is concerned everything took ages, even when ordering a soft drink on the other hand the Safari restaurant was 5 star food and service were excellent but was a bit away from the marina del sol.Sam's cafe was handy for snack food but pricey the mini mart did stock most things except Budweiser was very difficult to get. There was a huge difference in price with Sam's and the mini mart. The resort itself was excellent for children but not a lot happening at night time bars closed at 11.30.Pools are very well maintained and sunbeds were easy to get but then again it was early in the season
“ Top Tip: Fuengorola is about ten mins away in a taxi, it is ten euros for a taxi not worth the trek to the bus stop it is a nice walk, by the time you get to the bus stop you are almost in the town.
