This hotel has 5 floors and a total of 202 rooms including 198 doubles, 3 junior suites and a room adapted for disabled guests. It has a lobby with 2 external glass lifts, an internal lift and a 24-hour reception area with a safety box and a free wifi Internet access area (only in the reception area). The Albir Playa Hotel is a lovely hotel,clean spacious with very friendly staff.
The food in the restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of choices.
A good walk from the beach, however there is a courtesy bus available.

“ We have stayed at this hotel at least 8 times in the last 4 years for holidays. Myself and my wife always go here for our main holiday because it suits all our holiday needs. the hotel is spotless, the food is great and the staff are second to none. The resort of Albir is the type of resort we like and you also have the added bonus of being able to hop on the No. 10 bus to Benidorm if you wish, which is about a 20 minute bus journey. The one thing the hotel does not have is good nightly entertainent.
“ Top Tip: Take a walk out to Faro lighthouse which will take about 30 minutes at a stroll. Absolutely beautiful scenery so take a camera.

“ Hotel was beautiful. Could not fault Hotel but breakfast was not good and we went out most mornings with added extra expense. Bad choice for breakfast no cereal. Otherwise hotel was very clean and nice.

“ Beautiful clean hotel. Great view from balcony overlooking pool and mountains. Food and staff excellent. Entertainment in the hotel at night could be inproved with perhaps a greater emphasis on dancing and shows. Pool tables should be removed from the entertainment bar as it is not fair on the entertainer having to listen to the commotion that pool encourages. Hotel is in the quieter part of town but there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the vacinity.
“ Top Tip: If you like walking the walk from the hotel to the next resort, Altea along the beach is beautiful. It takes about 30 minutes. When in Altea make your way up the hill to the beautiful church where the surprise when you get there is delightful !!! This is authentic Spain.
