“ Lovely Hotel it was a pity the pool was not accessible there was no access just to sit in the garden.
“ Top Tip: No but we did find a very dodgy area in the centre. We went to get tickets for the tram to the castle but didnt bother as there were so many groups hanging around and we felt uneasy and we just happened to arrive when someone had just been robbed. So we left very quickly.

“ I would strongly recommend this hotel. The facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful and most pleasant. Room was good size and well equipped. Very central location, within walking distance of most places. My only complaint would be that their Sky Bar was not open, seemingly it closes from Oct to May, I believe they plan to have it open all year round next year.

“ A really lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Stayed in the refurbished rooms on the 6th floor - it was a room for 3 and the only small complaint that I would have was that the 3rd bed wasn't up to the same standard as the other 2 beds. Otherwise the hotel could not be faulted. Lovely swimming pool and terrace bar area. The view from the terrace bar is superb and a lovely place to relax both during the day or at night. Well worth spending a few pounds extra to stay in this hotel. Would definitely recommend it to friends and hope to return myself.

Top Tip:
Hotel is very quiet and great for a relaxing break although it's within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shops.
Ask the hotel staff for recommendations for shops, restaurants etc - very helpful.
Taxis are very reasonable.

Whilst it was a very pleasant and well run hotel the rooms in particular were not to the standard of appointment or finish one would expect of a 5 star hotel.
The top floor Terrace restaurant was however excellent. I would recommend it and grade it as 4 or 4.5 star.
