“ A brand new hotel in a fantastic location. Only a few teething problems with plumbing and wi fi stopped me giving this hotel a score of 10. The location could not be better. Right in the Ribeiro district, with numerous bars and restaurants close by, and the Hop-on Hop-off bus stops right outside the hotel.

Hotel Malaposta is a small renovated hotel in Porto’s downtown. The 38 comfortable guest rooms are equipped with television, telephone, safety box, private bathroom and are air-conditioned. A full buffet breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room. The hotel offers a lounge with TV, Internet access via Wi-Fi or through a local computer. Main city metro station Trindade is at 5 minutes walking distance, with direct line to Porto’s airport (30 minutes journey). Housed in a historic building, centrally located right on the Avenida dos Aliados which is less than 20 minutes from the airport and 20 meters from metro station. The hotel offers 2 suites and 41 bright and airy rooms with wooden floors, 19 of which with balcony and city views. All rooms feature antique-style furnishings and marble bathrooms. They are equipped with air conditioning, hairdryer, wireless internet, telephone, radio and 30 channels satellite TV International. To make your stay more complete, Café-Restaurant Guarany, in the same building, serves traditional Portuguese cuisine throughout the day. The hotel also has at its disposal and meeting room, Wi-Fi prepaid, free newspapers, 24 hour reception, lounge, bar and breakfast room. The hotel also has a laundry service, multilingual staff, tourist information, car rental, transfer service from the airport and the public car park 20mts. An ideal place for guests who are looking to stay in the city center.

“ very clean rooms and spacious. Very attentive staff. Excellent breakfast catering for all needs. Lovely facilities even though we did not have time to use them! Ideally situated bus stop right outside on both sides of the road and taxi service outside too and very reasonable.
